Solomons liveaboard highlights

The Solomons comprise 992 islands, less than 50% of which are inhabited. Situated within the Coral Triangle to the northeast of Australia and southeast of Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands are one of the last frontiers; untouched, peaceful and beautiful. Due to its remote location, the country offers some of the most pristine dive sites in the world, filled with innumerable unspoiled hard and soft corals. Join one of Master Liveaboards Solomons itineraries and indulge yourself in true picture postcard scuba diving.

Solomon Islands are THE destination for the scuba diving enthusiasts looking for a change of scenery, completely off the beaten track.

The biodiversity in Solomon Islands is hard to beat and rivals any other Indo-Pacific dive travel destination for coral reefs and marine life but without the tourist numbers. You will find wrecks, caverns, drop offs, wide-angle reefs and large sea fans and have an opportunity to experience the traditional culture of the islanders.

For those divers who like their creatures on the large side there are various types of shark and rays cruising amid the spectacular scenery of jaw dropping reefs, walls and pinnacles. For macro lovers, a plethora of critters can be found including pygmy seahorses, colourful nudibranchs, electric clams, ghost pipefish and many more. There is something for everyone in the Solomons.

4th trip to Solomon's and by far the best. Hesitant to book Master due to poor record with Siren Fleet but was very pleasantly surprised at the great trip. Adam and Carmen are the perfect Host/Manager pair and took us to awesome sites. In today's competitve world, do not understand rooms without ensuite facilities but it is clearly noted on the website. We had a wonderful room WITH ensuite...

great staff and crew, great briefings and wonderful mix of coral reefs, caves and wrecks. My favorite was the cathedral, combines the best of the Mexican cenotes with reef, jungle and cave diving. Carmen was super helpful when she saw whatever troubles I might have had with the current and taught me how to navigate it. The pre dive briefings and post dive lectures on the fish, and reef life were very informative

I couldn't have wished for a better way to discover the Solomon Islands than aboard the Solomon Master / Taka - the dives were exceptional, the landscape is what one can imagine paradise to look like, and the crew made this trip perfect. From day 1, we were welcome and taken care of by an amazing team of chefs, mates, engineers, dive guides, hostesses, captain and cruise director. Lots of fun, lots of amazing food, lots of space aboard the ship. I will definitely recommend and hope to be back soon.

Most of the dive sites were fantastic. I love to see a variety of topography and creatures--large and small. We definitely got both. Having dive leaders who are interested in specific areas is appreciated as well. I loved diving with Carmen because of her enthusiasm for essentially all sea life, but taking the time for the smaller, less noticed organisms in particular.

The boat is modern, clean and very comfortable. The crew are very friendly and extremely helpful and go beyond what I have encountered on other liveaboards. The food is western style and excellent (the breakfast on its own will set you up for the day).. i highly recommend this boat.
