    • This itinerary gives you seven days on board. The diving is incredible. You will have the opportunity to dive with schooling sharks, vast schools of fish and squadrons of eagle rays. The incredible hard coral reefs are packed with colour and critters. Manta points could be the highlight of your trip. These trips offer exciting diving for experienced divers, with adventure in mind.

'Project Shark' itineraries aim to get you up close and personal with the oceans' apex predators. When not diving, you will have opportunities to learn about the history, ecology and global issues facing these ancient, intriguing creatures. Through structured and engaging sessions you will also learn about the biology and behaviour of sharks. As part of the Project Shark itinerary, you will also have a chance to learn about globally endangered marine species and what we as divers can do to help protect them. The week will offer the opportunity to:

      • Learn about the biology and behaviour of sharks
      • Learn about methods and skills in marine biological studies; collecting data, species identification, data analysis
      • Learn about globally endangered marine species and what we can do as divers to ensure their protection
      • Enjoy fantastic diving on some of the best dive sites in the world
      • Experience potential close encounters with sharks, manta rays and whale sharks (although it is important to say we can never guarantee this.)

Encounters with endangered species allow divers to add a greater purpose to their diving holidays, so anyone who has an active interest in the preservation of the marine environment and its inhabitants would enjoy Project Shark itineraries. Aside from the educational component, it is important to mention that divers will enjoy daily diving. This makes the trips equally wonderful for those who just want to enjoy the diving.
