M/Y Blue Melody is the third vessel in the Blue O Two Fleet and underwent a complete interior re-fit in 2008, followed by an update in early 2016.
This spacious liveaboard boasts a large dining area, separate sky lounge with state of the art...
The aim of 'Project Shark' is to highlight the global issues facing sharks, with a Red Sea focus, as well as enjoying some of the most spectacular reefs that the Red Sea has to offer.
This itinerary combines the spectacular drop-offs and big pelagics at Daedalus with the stunning variety of St Johns. There is a reef for everyone and the opportunity to dive some of the most beautiful sites in the Red Sea.
You will be joined on board for the duration of the safari by our experienced Blue O Two Project Shark trip host, Paul Vinten. Paul is our resident marine biologist and will conduct seminars giving divers the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the biology and behaviour of sharks. Paul has vast experience as a marine biologist, helping to set up the largest aquarium in Europe where he looked after the nurse sharks. He worked as a dive guide in the Great Barrier Reef and has extensive experience in the Red Sea. There will also be a chance to learn about globally endangered marine species and what as divers we can do to aid their protection.
If for any reason Paul is unavailable to host this trip due to circumstances outside of our control, we will provide you with an alternative, suitably qualified and experienced dive guide. For the avoidance of doubt, any change in dive guide does not give you the right to amend, change or cancel your holiday, and any changes made will be subject to our normal terms and conditions.
Visit a dive site local to Port Ghalib for a check dive before heading south for your afternoon and night dive on the way to St Johns.
