Project Shark' itineraries aim to get you up close and personal with the oceans' apex predators. When not diving, you will have opportunities to learn about the history, ecology and global issues facing these ancient, intriguing creatures. Through structured and engaging sessions you will also learn about the biology and behaviour of sharks. As part of the Project Shark itinerary, you will also have a chance to learn about globally endangered marine species and what we as divers can do to help protect them. The week will offer the opportunity to:
Paul Vinten leads a team who deliver Blue O Two's Project Shark programme. Paul has a degree in Applied Marine Biology and commercial diving. When he is not available, Paul has trained other members of the Blue O Two team to lead the sessions. Whoever you get, you will be delighted you chose a Project Shark itinerary.
In the Red Sea, in the world-famous marine parks at Brothers and Daedalus, this thrilling itinerary of spectacular drop offs is perfect for divers keen to glimpse some big animals at these remote off-shore reefs.
Through seminars you will have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the biology and behaviour of sharks. There will also be a chance to learn about globally endangered marine species and what as divers we can do to aid their protection.
If for any reason Paul is unavailable to host this trip due to circumstances outside of our control, we will provide you with an alternative, suitably qualified and experienced dive guide. For the avoidance of doubt, any change in dive guide does not give you the right to amend, change or cancel your holiday, and any changes made will be subject to our normal terms and conditions.

After an early morning dive at Elphinstone, enjoy a relaxed dive local to Port Ghalib allowing you to cruise into harbour in the early afternoon. Take advantage of an evening onshore to purchase souvenirs and enjoy Egypt's famous hospitality before your journey home the next day.
