    • The Bahamas comprises of a large area of protected waters and is known to have some of the best visibility on earth with an abundance of sharks. It’s the third largest barrier reef area in the world with flourishing and diverse marine life. Besides sharks, keep an eye out for several species of dolphins and whales as well as the endangered Nassau grouper, considered the national fish of the Bahamas, which can reach over a meter in length.

      The 5 night Grand Bahama Adverture itinerary covers the best of the West End of Grand Bahama Island, and allows between 12-14 dives including several night dives (depending on conditions). Expect to see lots of sharks including nurse sharks, lemon sharks, tiger sharks, and even bull sharks.In some areas the diving is comparatively shallow and 'open platform' diving may be offered after the scheduled shark dives to allow guests to dive at their leisure up until sunset.

      The diving day aboard Bahamas Master is typically scheduled as follows:-

      - Light Breakfast followed by a briefing and dive 1
      - Full Breakfast, relaxation period, briefing and dive 2
      - Lunch, relaxation period, briefing and dive 3
      - Snack relaxation period, briefing and dive 4, where possible
      - Dinner

    • Day 1

      Embarkation at 17:00 only.

      Our crew will be waiting to meet you at Bradford Marine, Freeport at 16:45 where the Bahamas Master will be moored. After boarding and settling into your cabin, safety briefings will be conducted before dinner, then you have the evening free to relax.

    • Days 2-4

      Tiger Beach: Up to 4 dives per day.

      Dives 1-3 are scheduled baited/shark feeding dives, followed by 'open pool' diving in the afternoon. There may also be traditional reef and wall dives offered and, where possible, sunset or night dives.

    • Day 5

      For your last full day on board MV Bahamas Master, we schedule two dives in the morning before commencing the cruise back to Port Lucaya in the afternoon.

    • Day 6

      Disembarkation: 08:00 at Bradford Marine, after breakfast onboard.

      The itinerary below is an example of the planned route and dive sites cannot be guaranteed. All dives sites are subject to weather conditions and the final route taken is at the absolute discretion of the captain and dive guides. Adverse weather can affect this route which includes several overnight sailings.
